Our Story

Ascora was born out of the needs voiced out by trades businesses who were swamped by more paperwork the more they grew their trade businesses.

Back in 2010, Courtney Smith, the founder of Ascora, was running a custom software company specialising in business systems. He was approached by trades businesses one after another to build software that will help them alleviate the mountain of paperwork, communication issues and invoicing issues they experienced while running their trade businesses.

It is in Courtney’s DNA to ensure no shortcut was taken. Everything that is built within Ascora uses best practices in the software world while achieving maximum automation and systemisation for trade businesses who use Ascora, substantially alleviating their paperwork and at the same time accelerating the pace of the trade processes from enquiries to taking payments. Combining his genius for software with extensive experience and high inputs from trade businesses he was working with - Ascora, a powerhouse software for the trades industry, was born!

Forward thinking from day one, Ascora was built with the cloud in mind combined with powerful native iOS and Android apps! With continuous planning, development, testing and deployment across the web, iOS and Android platforms, Ascora launched to the public in 2012 and the rest was history!

Today, while Ascora has clients, staff and partners all across Australia, New Zealand, UK and US, our Head Quarters continues to be in Perth Western Australia, where Ascora was first developed.
