ASCORA VS WORKIZ
Workiz asks you to book a call for pricing. Ascora publishes it.
Workiz quotes on request and bills the year up front. Ascora publishes both plan prices and bills month to month, with inventory and equipment history on every plan rather than the top one. Here is the rest, side by side, with sources and dates.

Six reasons contractors switch from Workiz.
You can see the price
Both Ascora plans are published per user per month. Workiz quotes on request across Standard, Pro and Ultimate, so the first number you see arrives after a sales call.
Month to month, not a year up front
Workiz's FAQ says plans are billed annually at the time of purchase. Ascora bills month to month with no lock-in, so the software has to keep earning it.
Inventory and equipment are not a top-tier upsell
Workiz lists inventory, equipment tracking and service plans under Ultimate. On Ascora both sit on Essentials and Elite - there is no tier to climb for the parts on your van.
Multi-phase work without changing plan
Workiz lists multi-day jobs under Ultimate. Ascora treats sectioned projects, progress billing across phases and change orders as a normal project workflow on both plans.
No setup fee in the US
Pure self-serve on ascora.io. Start a trial, import your customers and price book, and go - nothing to pay before you begin.
Built for 5 to 50 technicians
Not a starter app for a single van, and not a franchise rollout. The size of shop where dispatch, projects and the books all have to work at once.

One platform, office to field, enquiry to payment.
Bring your Workiz data with you.
We can import your customers, your price book, open jobs and scheduled jobs, so you are not starting from an empty system. Ask us exactly what comes across before you commit, it is a short, honest list rather than a promise to move everything.
If the phone is the business.
Workiz builds phone handling, answering and marketing add-ons into the same product. For a high-call-volume shop that wants telephony and dispatch from one vendor on one bill, that is a real advantage and Ascora does not match it. If that stack is your buying reason, Workiz may be the better fit, and you should weigh it against published pricing and which plan holds your inventory.
Ascora vs Workiz questions.
How much does Workiz cost compared to Ascora?
Workiz does not publish list pricing - Standard, Pro and Ultimate all say Request pricing (workiz.com/pricing-plans, accessed 15 September 2026). Ascora publishes both plan prices, which you can read on the pricing page before you talk to anyone.
Does Workiz require an annual contract?
Workiz's own FAQ states that plans are billed annually at the time of purchase (workiz.com/faq, accessed 15 September 2026). Ascora's public plans are month to month with no lock-in contract.
Can I migrate my data from Workiz to Ascora?
Yes. We can import customers, your price book, open jobs and scheduled jobs. Ask us what is included before you switch so the expectations are clear on both sides.
Which Workiz plan do I need for inventory and equipment tracking?
Ultimate, per their published tier chart (accessed 15 September 2026). On Ascora, inventory and equipment history are on both Essentials and Elite - they are not held back for a top tier.
Is Ascora a good fit for a shop with 5 to 50 technicians?
Yes. That is the public range Ascora builds for: past the point where a shared calendar works, short of an enterprise rollout.
